Westy was spotted on the side of a rural road and more than likely was abandoned by his owners. He never once left his spot by the road, thinking his family would come back for him. We rescued him knowing that they weren't coming back for him.

 

Westy is a sweet happy boy who is still learning to trust people. He can be a little jumpy and stand offish at times but has come a long way. He is even starting to give kisses to his foster mom! He enjoys being part of a pack and loves to run around the yard and loves to "wrestle" with his big brother Cowboy (a pit/bulldog mix).

He is doing very well inside the house and does well in a kennel.

 

Is fostered in a home with other dogs (large & small) and does very well with all.
